Cristina Pérez Franceschini is Chief Compliance Officer and Head of Operations at X-Square Capital. She has over 20 years of experience in the accounting and administration of investment companies in Puerto Rico.
In her prior role at Banco Popular, Ms. Pérez was in charge of preparing financial statements for ten open-end and closed-end Funds. Her main duties included overseeing daily NAV calculations, expense budgeting and accruals. She acted as liaison with external auditors and was responsible for regulatory compliance reporting with the local authorities. She also coordinated the printing and mailing of semi-annual and annual reports to shareholders and assisted with proxy voting for annual shareholder meetings.
